Join us for an upcoming online workshop where we will share experiences on promoting Inclusiveness and Diversity in local climate action and community engagement. In this session, we will explore how strengthening collaboration among diverse local stakeholders is essential for implementing climate measures. By involving different groups, we aim to create solidarity, foster a sense of belonging, and empower individuals to feel safe and valued, and that their actions matter.
Key topics will include:
- Inclusion: The process of integrating marginalized groups into decision-making, ensuring they are respected, supported, and valued for their unique backgrounds and needs.
- Diversity: Embracing differences in characteristics such as age, gender, race, disability, and socio-economic status, both visible and invisible.
The session will feature contributions from CrAFt cities practitioners from Prague and Bologna, as well as the initiative Women of the NEB, which champions gender equality and amplifies diverse voices to inspire positive change in line with the values of the New European Bauhaus.
